List Of ABET Accredited ”Surveying Programs”

The following is list of college programs accredited under surveying per the ABET site.
There are 23 accredited colleges in 18 states. Following each is the highest level of degree offered. ABET list three Surveying categories. Penn State Wilkes-Barre is in 2 categories because the BS program is in Engineering and the AET (Associate in Engineering Technology) is in the Engineering Technology category. Following the three lists is a summary of the states followed by the number of colleges if more than 1.

There are other surveying programs that fall under their colleges engineering accreditation and are not separately accredited. Of interest, Ohio State no longer offers a BS in Surveying, their BS is in Engineering with a Minor (20 credits) in Surveying.
At the same time Purdue has a Geomatics Engineering program with a Surveying Minor (31 credits).
Surveying BS programs run from 120-135 credits.
Some of the AS programs are rather intense requiring 70-75 credits. PSU Wilkes-Barre requires 31 actual surveying credits.
